It it is not only the adventurous fun sport and the contact with nature that I love about kitesurfing , it is also the people you get to meet while kiting. I think kiting is practiced most of the time by very interesting, fun and lovely people and all that and more is what i found at the kite-sisters trip.
I spent an amazing week at Paracas. Kiting sessions were awesome, professional lessons based on video and objective feedback, strong winds, the spot is beautiful right where the dessert meets the sea, we stayed at a very nice and comfy house with a pool and everything only 5 minutes away from the kite point, the delicious food was cooked by local and very nice people. Chelu and Octavio are one of the best hosts I have ever stayed with. They are fun, nice and passionate, they took care of every detail, were present at all times and made the most out of the experience.
I am grateful for having had this amazing experience and have meet so many girls with the same interests whom I am sure I will meet again. Being there, sharing the passion for the sport and having fun together really creates a sisterhood. Thank you all for everything, see you soon again at an other kite-sister trip 🙂

Kite sisters camp in Paracas, Peru was the best trip I’ve ever taken. I had taken a few lessons previous to kite sisters and I didn’t have confidence with kite control and I couldn’t ride. After a 3 days in Paracas, under Chelu’s guidance and support, I was up and riding by day 3! I gained so much confidence with my kite control and riding from kite sisters. The morning Yoga classes instructed by Chelu was such a great way to start our mornings. Chelu is an amazing instuctor, she is patient but pushes you to overcome your fears by giving you proper training to control the kite and ride.
The camp was an amazing experience because I was able to meet other women, just like me, who are adventurous and passionate about improving or learning kite surfing. We had an amazing group of women in our camp, everyone was so supportive and most of all we had such a great time hanging out with each other on the beach and off the beach. I made life long friends from around the world on this trip.
In addition, the accommodation was absolutely beautiful. Chelu and Octavio arranged a gorgeous villa for us to stay in. All of our meals were so delicious, definitely up to Peruvian cuisine standards. The food was so fresh and we were so well taken care of. This was one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever taken and have had my fair share of travel experience. I’m looking forward to joining another kite sisters camp in the future. Thanks much for everything Chelu and Octavio!

I knew when I first booked this trip that I would enjoy myself. Learning and meeting other girls around the world? Why not! The fact is, I never thought I would enjoy myself THIS much. As a beginner, Paracas was the perfect destination. No deep water close to the shore, great winds and calm sea without waves, all conditions were there that I could feel comfortable. Besides kitesurfing, Paracas and Peru in general offer so much more. Food is amazing (OMG! I’m still dreaming about it!), landscapes are breath taking and locals are nice and welcoming. The Kite Sisters crew is also amazing. Everything is so well organized and planned nicely so you don’t have to care about anything during the trip, from the pickup at the airport to the kite lessons. Where is the rewind button on my life so I could live this trip over and over again?

My experience with Kite Sisters was amazing! I started with kite surf courses in Rosario, Argentina, in the Parana River in february 2012. Awesome but difficult for me, considering that I was 48 in that moment (today 49) and it was a challenge, as I don’t practice sports because I don´t like it (just gym when I have time). In may I bought my first gear and keep practicing in the Parana River; but I needed more lessons to get confidence, loose that fear to the Kite, feel independent and being able to ride free and happy… and I managed to do that in Paracas, Peru, an amazing spot, flat water, steady wind, 4 hs of Kitesurf every day with Chelu and Octa, my new instructors! When I finally, after 2 or 3 days without stopping, I got to really ride, I cried of emotion in the middle of the Paracas Bay… BECAUSE I DID IT! I have to say, I´m a lawyer, university teacher, too many books, words and reading, lot of Law; but in Paracas I finally got to understand the nature, water and wind laws and all together in my mind and soul, today with 49 years old… I did it! Was a challenge and a big achievement… and now I´m coming for the next one… when I arrive to the 50s, with more hours in the water, I will start to jump… I believe in me… Kite Sisters was and is a VERY important part of this new stage in my life! Kitesurf gave me back the “horizon”, the illusion and the game; with almost 50 years old; when everybody is waiting that you start to become a grumbling old lady. As we say in Rosario with my friends: In the name of the Wind, the Water and the Holly Kite!!!”

“I decided to join to a Kite Sisters Trip thanks to the confidence that Chelu gave me and the professionalism that everything was managed on the entire process; from the transportation, the Hotel, the gear, the meals and the shared moments. On my trip, I met wonderful girls, we had a great time! And I´m still in contact with 3 of them. Everything was designed to make us enjoy from early in the morning, with Yoga lessons, that made us wake up and activate most of us, followed by a complete and with lot of talks breakfast, after we jump to the water to practise Surf, trying to get a wave and, during the afternoon Kitesurf! What most motivate me from the trip, of course.
Chelu and Octavio gave me the confidence that I needed to completely enjoy this amazing sport. After returning tired from an busy day, we used to go directly to the hot water bathtub to recover and share a beautiful sunset… the day finished perfectly, with a tiredness enriched by adventures, good company and laughs.
The day after, the fun continue. Thanks for this wonderful and unforgettable experience, ready to repeat.
    Absolutely recommended, without doubts”.

¿Querés aprenderlo? súmate a Kite Sisters Trips!)

“me rindo… estoy tiritando”… “Pauli vamos a almorzar?”

Joder!! Me toco intentarlo…

7.30 y no me puedo levantar…

Me siento cómoda y feliz …COMPLETAMENTE FELIZ DE HABER LLEGADO NAVENGANDO A LA ORILLITA!! (Navegue poquito pero lo hice)… Me puedo ir a dormir feliz!!

Amazing experience (Paracas 2015). Kite Sisters (Chelu & Octavio and their Crew) know how to curate a kite & yoga camp with class and maturity. Everything was so well organized and you really felt that you were taken care of. You could tell even in the beginning with the ease of registration and the flow of information. You are really taken care of.
We had excellent conditions to learn to kite in. And the level of attention for each kiter was phenomenal.
Yoga instruction was also excellent and a good balance to the intensity that learning the sport of kiting can bring.
I will definitely be back! Thank you Kite Sisters Crew (Chelu, Octavio, Juan Carlos, Arjan and Juan) XOXO

Easily the best retreat I have ever been on. Chelu and her crew really did think of everything! I have been on a handful of women’s surf/yoga retreats and Kite Sister’s takes the gold. I am a beginner kite surfer and by the end of the week I was riding with ease. This is all because of the amazing, confident instruction I received (I have taken lessons before but have never made as much progress). With regards to the other details of the trip – the food was amazing. Truly amazing. Chelu brought in a very well-known chef from Lima who cooked amazing, healthy cuisine. The yoga each morning was a perfect balance to the active week. We had other fun excursions such as Sand Boarding and visiting a bird reserve. All of it was unique and memorable. What’s best is that I left with a great group of new friends. I plan to book several more trips with Kite Sisters!

My week in Paracas with Kite Sisters was one I will always remember, and compare any other camp to. It exceeded my expectations by far – from the gourmet food, to the sunsets over the water at our villa, to the consistent wind and instruction. It was so nice to not have to plan anything the whole time as everything was taken care of. The Kite lessons and location were the best I’ve had, with a great 2:1 ratio that gave me time to learn from my partner, and from the instructor with the radio helmet. I started the week without confidence and nervous about my riding, and ended feeling independent, knowledgeable about safety and rules of the water, and staying upwind and doing transitions! The Yoga was a great addition, always stretching out the sore muscles helping prevent injury and instilling gratefulness every minute as the sun soaked our skin. The food brought in the Peruvian culture, along with the day trips for bird watching and sandboarding. Of course the people are what make these trips, and we had a great group. Chelu, Octavio, and the whole crew were always helpful, patient, and made sure we were always taken care of. Feeling safe on the beach and in the water, and comfortable when we got back to enjoy food and drinks are not easy tasks, and i didn’t have to worry about a thing. I would recommend this trip to anyone…if you come to Peru, make sure to take extra time to travel to Cusco and Machu Picchu. I will be picking another destination and going again with Kite Sisters some time soon!

Kiteboarding & Yoga Camp Paracas, Peru. November 5th to 12th, 2016

I booked a trip with Chelu and her amazing team in November – destination Paracas, Peru. My expectations was high – and yes – they met all of them, and many more! Had a fun, challenging, active, silly week with a bunch of incredible women. My kite-coach Octavia taught me soo much this week – which means that I now both need to invest in booties and surfboard!
The atmosphere in and out of the water was something that cannot be forced – kitesisters and Team Paracas 5-12 Nov. 2016 you rock 🙂
